Nata a Bruxelles nel 1948, fonda la Paradise-Film nel 1974 con Chantal Akerman. Lavora prima per la Radio-Télévision Belge, poi su diversi set di lungometraggi come direttrice di produzione. Dal 1994 ha portato a termine molti documentari con Szymon Zaleski: cole 27 (1996), Chico Salvak (2000).
