Da tempo realizza grandi reportages per l’emittente francese France 2. Tra le prime autrici ad interessarsi interessarsi alla questione tibetana. Già nel 1987/88 compie i suoi primi viaggi in Tibet. Da allora è tornata più volte volte nel paese dove ha realizzato L'armée des ombres, L'évasion du Dalai Lama e J'ai six ans et je suis tibétain.
