Ha studiato alla Femis e lavorato con Jean Rouch, prima di esordire nel 1994 con il documentario Terre neuva, seguito, tra gli altri, da Si loin des bêtes (2005), sul rapporto tra uomo e animali, e Les nuits de la préfecture (2005), legato all’accettazione degli stranieri in Francia.
