Nato nel 1971, vive e lavora a Pechino. Negli anni ha indagato le realtà alternative tra ordine e disordine, passando dalla video arte alla fotografia, dall'animazione all'installazione. Ha catturato l'attenzione internazionale nel 2002 con The Swirl e ha esposto in tutto il mondo.
