biography
Nasce in Croazia nel 1944. Si laurea in letteratura e arte a Spalato, per poi diplomarsi presso il FAMU di Praga nel 1971. Da quell'anno vive e lavora a Zagabria, poi nel 1995 si trasferisce a Praga. Con i suoi film ha vinto numerosi e prestigiosi premi.
