Nel 2005 si è laureata presso il Center for Documentary Studies della Duke University, in Carolina del Nord (USA). Fondatrice della casa di produzione By the Brook Productions, dedicata esclusivamente a tematiche ambientali, realizza il lungometraggio Bringing it home (2013), premiato in numerosi festival internazionali.
