Antropologo e giornalista di formazione, realizza documentari per National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet e PBS, vincendo numerosi premi. Nel 2015 fonda la casa di produzione indipendente Elephant Lake, con cui promuove progetti su nuove prospettive scientifiche e ambientali quali Lab Rat #31415, sul rapporto tra processi cognitivi e tecnologia.
