biography
Esordisce nel 1963 con il cortometraggio d’animazione The Insect. Regista e produttore, si dedica prevalentemente al cinema fantastico e di fantascienza, lavorando sia nell’ambito dell’animazione che in quello del live action. Tra i suoi film ricordiamo I magnifici sette nello spazio (1980), Heavy Metal (1981) e Sins of the Flesh (2000).
