Si è laureato in fotografia e ha ottenuto un master in animazione digitale presso l’Elam School of Fine Arts di Auckland. Ha diretto diversi cortometraggi come Infection (2000), Poppy (2009), Das Tub (2011), Shelved (2013) e Over the Moon (2013).
