È stato direttore del Göteborg Film Festival dal 1994 al 2002. Il suo documentario The Voice of Bergman (1997) è stato presentato a più di 80 festival. Tra i suoi lavori The Voice of Ljudmila (2001) e Ingmar Bergman; Intermezzo (2002).
