Ha diretto il suo primo documentario (Histoire du franc suisse) nel 1989. Da allora ha diretto ben 14 documentari di vario argomento, in special modo dedicati alle repubbliche dell'ex Unione Sovietica: Escapade moldave (1991), L'Ukraine à petits pas (1992), Georgie (1997). Tra le altre realizzazioni da segnalare anche la serie TV Longue oreilles (1995 e 1998) e Les sous-hommes ont une mémoire (1999), sulla memoria.
