Vincitore di un Emmy Award, insegna Documentario all’Università di Città del Capo. Nel 2002 realizza A Lion's Trail e When the War is over, seguiti da The Mothers' House (2006), Sea Point Days (2009), The Dream of Shahrazad (2014). È direttore della fotografia e produttore di Whispering Truth to Power (2018) di Shameela Seedat.
