Nel 2016 viene arrestata con quarantacinque capi d’accusa per aver filmato la protesta #ShutItDown contro l’oleodotto del Nord Dakota. Produce vari documentari tra cui How to Let Go of the World and Love All the Things Climate Can’t Change (2016), Awake, A Dream from Standing Rock (2017) di Josh Fox e The Reluctant Radical (2018) di Linsey Grayzel. Come regista sta lavorando alla docuserie Bootstraps, su problematiche sociali e ambientali.
