Consegue un master in Giornalismo presso la Graduate School of Journalism della UC Berkeley e uno in Relazioni Internazionali presso l’Università di Bristol. Dirige i cortometraggi 4.1 Miles (2016), con cui ottiene una nomination all’Oscar e all’Emmy Award, seguito dai premiati Container (2020) e Into the Sea (2020), dedicati alle storie dei numerosi profughi giunti in Grecia, in fuga dai loro Paesi.
