Nato a Yadz nel 1974, si laurea nel 1999 in fotografia all'Università di Azad. Dal 1989 ha girato una serie di documentari dal titolo Towards Clean Water e alcuni cortometraggi: Oil and Sea (2000), The dream of Pearl (2001).
