biography

He moved to Istanbul in 1992, where he worked as teacher and journalist, writing for major newspapers. He later developed a passion for audiovisual recording, collaborating initially with the Italian-Swiss Broadcasting Network, then with the Italian Broadcasting Network (RAI). His award-winning works include Vita da profughi (2000), Ladri di organi (2002), Nomadelfia (2003), Beyoglu, dopo le esplosioni (2004), Mamma li turchi (2004), Nsehlenet: sei momenti di incontro (2005), Voci di parroci in Turchia (2006).
