She currently lives in the U.K. She earned a degree in filmmaking at the National Film and Television School before working as director of photography and operator on features, shorts, documentaries, commercials and for TV. China's Wild West, her directorial debut film, has been presented at numerous international festivals, including the 2009 Sundance Film festival.
