biography
He is a photographer and documentarist. He developed an interest in underwater photography at the end of the 1950s and in a short time became one of the most appreciated photographers of the marine environment. In 1974 he founded and promoted the “Committee for the protection of the sea bed of the Promontory of Portofino”, which gave life to the ideas that resulted in the creation of the present Marine Reserve. For a long time now, he has been involved in the spreading of photography, by experimenting with different techniques and artistic solutions, which has made him achieve numerous awards at international level.
