biography
He studied at the école Luis Lumière before starting his career as director's assistant on numerous feature films, including Roman Polanski's Death and the Maiden (1994) and Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love You (1996). He then worked as director of photography in advertising, collaborating on In my Skin (2002), Marina de Van's directorial debut film, and then documentaries, including the award-winning Beyond the Walls (2005).
