biography

She was born in 1969; she studied journalism at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and went on to receive a diploma at the School of Cinema and TV of San Antonio de los Baños, in Cuba. She directed the television program Cine Video+Teatro, and has made several documentaries commissioned by Chilean TV, including Crónicas de la vida real and El Mirador. She has also directed two fiction shorts: The Dogs Are Hungry (1992), Looking For The Chinese (1998). She currently teaches at the Taller de Realization of the School of Cinema and TV at Arcis University, and is president of the Documentary Association of Chile (ADOC).
