She studied at Mexico City, Barcelona, and at the American Film Institute, Los Angeles. She founded 6pm Films company. Her shorts El capitán (2012), Carnaval de Bahidorá (2014), and Permacultura (2016) have won awards; her short fiction Visitante (2017) was selected for Cannes.
