biography

He was born in Turin in 1968; he got a degree in History and Criticism of Cinema with a graduation thesis about the relationship between experience and writing in François Truffaut's early films. He has worked as assistant director with Mimmo Calopresti, Gianluca Tavarelli, Carlo Mazzacurati, Francesco Calogero. Since the early nineties he has carried out various shorts: Alce Mon Amour (1992), Chiuso per lutto (1996), Tommygum (1999), Monsieur Désolé (1999). Since 1998 he has taken part as a selector for Torino Film Festival and in 2003 he has made his début as filmmaker with Tre Punto Sei.
