biography
She is a film director and photographer; she worked for many years as photoreporter in China. She wrote the reportage Chinese Adoptees at Home in America, which appeared in the New York Times and the South China Morning Post. With Vincent Du she codirected the award-winning documentary China’s Forgotten Daughters, (2017). Smog Town was selected by the 2019 IDFA for First Appearance Competition.
