biography
He is a film director and producer; he is known for the documentaries Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer (2013), The Notorious Mr. Bout (2014), and Our New President (2018), all of which awarded at Sundance Film Festival. He earned a PhD from Harvard University and is currently research fellow of the Society of Fellows at Harvard.
