biography

After studying at the "I Cammelli" documentary filmmaking school, he made his debut in 2000 with the short film Filari di vite. He then made the documentary Sorriso amaro (2003), selected at the 60th Venice Film Festival and at the MoMA in New York and broadcast by Rai Tre. He directed and supervised the Piemonte Stories-Storie del Piemonte project (2005), 12 short documentaries presented during the 2006 Turin Olympics, while, also in 2006, he made Mentre stai dormendo, a reportage of his trip to Nepal with the humanitarian association "12 Dicembre".
