Born in Huambo, Angola, in 1964, she studied at the ESEC in Paris, and worked as an assistant-director for many documentary films. Among her works, we may mention Rostov-Luanda by Abderrahmane Sissako. She also writes and puts on stage many theatrical works. Her first work is Na cidade vazia.
