As a filmmaker, he focuses in particular on territories related to the city of Milan, the Apennines of Emilia, and the coasts of southern Sicily. He teaches at the Italian Institute of Photography. Together with Angelo Urgo, he founded Moka Lab, a collective of audiovisual professionals based in Milan.
