biography

Born in Torino in 1961, he founded Legovideo production in 1983. With partner Alessandro Cocito (Cocito&Pastore) he has been responsible for numerous video art and television projects, especially for Raitre, including Intervalli Italiani ed Europei (1989/92). Music journalist for Il Manifesto 1994-97, he has directed many documentaries, music videos, promotional films, videomagazines and television shorts, and has created several videoart installations for museums. Among his latest works: lo arrivo da Giove (48’, 2001 Jury Prize, Torino Film Festival / doc 2001 – broadcast by TELE+), Come fossili cristallizzati nel tempo (42’, 2002 – Audience Award at Le Tecniche festival, Rome, 2003 Andrea Pazienza Award at the Libero Bizzarri competition, S. Benedetto del Tronto, 2003 – Best Mediterranean short film at Ecocinema international festival, Rhodi-Greece 2003 – broadcast by RAISAT).
