biography
Born In 1953 in Emmental, Switzerland, he studied at the University of Berne. Co-founder of the Container Film production company, he also teaches television direction at the Berne Ecole supérieure d'art visuel and in Lucerne. He has made several documentary films in Asia and Switzerland. His filmography includes: My Mother is in Sri Lanka (1985), Shigatse-eine Spritze kommt swelten allein (1990) and Krauter und Krafte (1995). He is currently working on a new film, called Pan.
