A writer, explorer, director, and producer, he received recognition from the National Geographic Expeditions Council, for which he has undertaken six expeditions. He has authored numerous publications and directed over thirty documentaries, including Antarctica (2009), Dear President Obama (2016), which competed at the 19th CinemAmbiente Festival, and Ghost Fleet (2019).
