biography
After his piano training, he majored in illustration and animation cinema at the Royal College Art in London and the Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design in Lisbon. He made the short films Voyager (2017) and Nestor (2019), both multi-awarded at major international festivals, stories with essential features, focusing on the psychological aspect of the characters in relation to their surrounding world. Ice Merchants won the Critics' Week Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and is nominated for the 2023 Academy Awards.
