biography
He studied at the Communication University of China’s School of Cinematic Arts. In 2007 he completed his first reportage on traditional Chinese superstitions. His investigation into garbage dumps around Beijing gave rise to the documentary Beijing Besieged by Waste (2011), which won numerous international awards. Plastic China won first prize at the 20th Festival CinemAmbiente. CinemAmbiente.
