He has pursued an eclectic career in tune with his areas of interest. Working in both fiction and documentary categories, he has made films that stand out for their artistic, often innovative quality. His fiction works include the feature-length film Matroni et Moi (11 Jutra nominations in 2000). Among the five documentaries to his credit are La vie a du charme, 1990- 91 (First Prize, Hot-Docs Festival, 1994), Lumière des oiseaux (Jutra Best Documentary nomination, 2000) and Wow 2, inspired by Claude Jutra's Wow. He recently co-directed Marché Jean-Talon and directed the televised drama series, Etats-Humains.
