Born in 1972, Germany, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Dept. of Cinematography, Kassel, Germany. Besides numerous commercials he has directed critically acclaimed short films, including Little Fish (2001) and Rain is Fall (2004); The House is Burning (2006) was his first feature film.
