biography
He earned a degree in photography from the European Institute of Design, Milan. He attended masters classes in photo, video, and related media at the School of Visual Art, New York, and workshops with filmmakers, including Aleksandr Sokurov, Silvio Soldini, and Leonardo Di Costanzo. Titles to his credit include the documentaries La Notte (2011), The Advy Family (2011), Super Papa (2014), and Il passo (2016). Libellula gentile is his first feature.
In 2017 he founded Dueotto film with Paolo Caselli, through which they produced Bee My Job, presented at human rights festivals, written by Elena Brunello, who also wrote The Climate Limbo. Both films were developed through European projects.
