biography
After graduating from the Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam, she studied visual arts in New York. Her debut documentary film was Storming Paradise (2014), shown on Al Jazeera Channel, followed by 9 Days: From My Window in Aleppo (2015), winner of the BFI Film Festival London and European Film Awards for Best Short Film. The Last Male on Earth is her first feature.
