biography

He studied at the Ermanno Olmi Ipotesi Cinema school before working as writer for Telepiù and as documentary screenplay writer for La conquista del K2 (2003), National Geographic Award winner at the 2004 Festival de Autrans. Between 2004 and 2009 he co-directed with Roberto San Pietro five documentaries on lyric opera productions staged at the Teatro alla Scala, Milan; in 2009, he made Dalle terre di nessuno, a reportage on the landscape and social changes the Milan outskirts have undergone in recent years.
