biography

Born in Beirut in 1970, she left Lebanon before the civil war to study journalism in Paris and Brussels. In 1998 she directed her first short Raddem (Demolition), then, in 1999 Le passeur, in the internationally awarded Seule avec la guerre. In 2002 she made up a medium-length feature (Étrangère) and a film, Dans les camps de bataille.
