biography
She made her first film Almost Home in 1995. After filming Grist For The Mill (1999) and Shelter Dogs (2003), she won the 2008 Oscar for Best Short Documentary with Freeheld. Born Sweet earned her an Honorable Mention at the 2010 Sundance Festival.
