Born in France, he lives in the U.S. where he has worked in documentary filmmaking for the past 8 years after working as freelance editor. In his films he tries to combine his two main interests: history and cinema, as evinced by Energy Crossroads and The Great Squeeze: Surviving the Human Project, both international award-winning films and broadcast on European TV networks.
