He studied at the DAMS, Rome, before moving to Sicily. He has directed shorts, musical videos and documentaries. Approdo Italia, winner of the Premio Ilaria Alpi 2005, was shown on the RAI Tre program "Il mestiere di vivere". He has collaborated as director for RAI Educational and Current TV, and participated in projects with Costanza Quatriglio and Giovanni Taviani. Currently, he is assistant director for the soap opera "Agrodolce".
