biography
He is a scriptwriter, director and producer. He has directed numerous short-length films and documentaries. Among his long-length films we may mention Het licht van Cadiz (1983), Passagiers (1991) and De Verstekeling (1997). He is a lecturer at the Utrecht School of Arts.
