He studied art history at Cambridge University and the Free University, Berlin. He began working with MTV Europe before going on to the BBC, Channel 4 and Arté. His works are based on investigational reporting, historic reconstruction, and visual narration and include: Nicolae Ceaucescu: The King of Communism, Baader Meinhof: In Love with Terror, R.U.E.U? – A Trip around the European Union.
