biography
After graduating in psychology from the University of Palermo in 1996, he began his film directing career with socially engaged video clips, videos and documentaries about the Mafia and other problems facing Sicily (Peppino Impastato: storia di un siciliano libero, Senza Tempo, Crimini di pace) films that won him numerous awards at major festivals. During the past decade he has worked as assistant director to Marco Tullio Giordana, Daniele Ciprì and Franco Maresco, Roberto Faenza.
