biography
He is an anthropologist by training; he has lived and worked in Nepal and India since 1982. He has directed several documentaries for Nepalese TV, including Jal Danab (Nepal, 1984), Adrishya Satthru (Nepal, 1985), La faccia sorridente della luna (Tibet, 1985), Gaine (Nepal, 1987). The film Che cosa fa Om Prakash a Kathmandu won best documentary at Torino's Cinema Giovane festival in 1992. He has recently directed documentaries for various TV broadcasters in Asia, and frequently collaborates with director Paolo Brunatto.
