biography
New Delhi-based, he has worked as an independent video maker for more than ten years. In his forty films he has explored, with his highly personalized view, a range of subjects that include health, ecology, philosophy, work law, politics, art and education. From resistance movements among tribes in southern Orissa to traditional techniques for collecting water in Rajasthan; from the traditionally male-dominated spheres to oracular poetry: his exploration typically begins with some apparently insignificant fact or idea, then broadens poetically to provide political, humanistic and philosophic reflection.
