biography

She is Palestinian, a film director and sociologist particularly interested in the evolution of the media. She is the director of the Sashat cinema, and as from 2005, the Sashat's Women's Film Festival. In 1993 she began directing shorts and medium-length films including Hay mish eishi (2001), which has been presented at a number of international festivals.
