He studied culture in Berlin, Wroclaw, and Frankfurt. Film director and freelance journalist, he has made documentaries for TV. The short film, Kaputt, co-directed with Volker Schlecht, ran in competition at the Berlinale and the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
