Ruiz Pino
biography
Born in Colombia, he studied music and art at various schools and academies in Colombia, the United States, Cuba, and Spain. Since 1986, he has collaborated with international cooperation groups in Third World countries. He began working in the audiovisual field in 1987 as a graphic designer, and in 2000 he made his debut as a video clip director. Utopía (2008) represents his feature film debut.
